Web EOY S1 Reflection

           The final project was "12 Days of Christmas". The concept was to make a website about a Christmas-related topic. The first step was to research and find sources and find inspiration for a topic. I randomly looked at websites that were related to Christmas because I wasn’t sure on what I wanted to do; then, I had the idea to do activities in KC. I looked at a lot of mom blogs to figure out what four different activities I could research about. Then, I started to create content and CSS for my site. However, the first time I tried to preview my site to check for any problems, it didn’t show up. It turns out my CSS folder was in Ava’s folder but I resolved the problem when I decided to just start a new site.

 I learned how to manage CSS and review having a site with several pages to it. I also learned how to use JavaScript. Professionally, I learned how to manage my time and planning out a design. I would have tried to make my content longer because it’s a little short but it was a little hard to think of different ways to introduce the subject or go in depth with the activity and it got repetitive. I would keep my CSS the same because I liked the way it turned out and I think it all goes together well. I will use my newly found time management skills to be more efficient with new projects. Overall, it was a fun project because it was Christmas themed and it wasn't too stressful because there was a lot of time to work on the site and create content.
